Montgomery Senior Prom
Montgomery High School held its annual Senior Prom on May 17 at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton. As Montgomery only hosts one Prom a year, the event was highly anticipated for months.
Prom day officially began when students with early dismissal passes left school around 10:30 a.m. to arrive promptly for hair and makeup appointments. Friends met for pictures and food a few hours later at each others’ houses. Although the threat of rain quite literally loomed over the students’ heads, the weather thankfully held up for joyous pre-prom celebrations.
Students excitedly arrived at the Hyatt at 7 p.m. when the dance began.
The girls were dressed in stunning, floor-length dresses, matching perfectly with the theme of this year’s prom, “Live Your Fairytale.” Dancing was followed by dinner, dessert, and more dancing. The slow dance was sung beautifully by the class of 2019’s very own Aakanksha Kuchan. Towards the end of the night, students began to leave for home or to continue hanging out with friends.
Senior Prom was a fun, memorable night that will be cherished by all of the students who attended long after the class of 2019 graduates next month.
