Hillsborough Raiders Senior Night

Last Friday, October 18, 2019, Hillsborough High School’s graduating members of the football team, marching band, color guard, and cheerleading squad lined the football field before the game to celebrate and honor all that they had done for the past four years.

The crowd of students wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month cheered as their soon-to-be alumni walked with their parents out in front of the stands. From playing on the field, cheering from the sidelines, and to performing during halftime, the class of 2020 will definitely leave an important mark on Hillsborough High School.

After honoring the seniors, the game against Colonia High School began. The Hillsborough Raiders ended up finishing 26-0, polishing the team’s reputation. The Hillsborough Marching Band and Color Guard performed during halftime in a piece inspired by the relationship by both the moon and the sun and dark and light.

Overall, the game was a success and the seniors undeniably left with pride for their hometown and team. Once a raider, always a raider.
