Hillsborough High School Class of 2020 Graduation
In an email sent out to Hillsborough Township residents, Dr. Lisa Antunes provided the following update with regards to commencement ceremony for Hillsborough’s Class of 2020.
“As parents and family members of our high school seniors know, our 2020 commencement ceremony was scheduled to take place at the Rutgers Athletic Center (RAC). While unfortunate, we were notified by the RAC that all events have been cancelled. We have secured the same date elsewhere (although we believe this venue will also cancel all events) and are also seeking possible alternatives to our usual graduation ceremony if it becomes necessary to do so to ensure public health and safety.
As many of our long-standing, traditional senior activities have been postponed and /or cancelled, a final determination regarding our commencement ceremonies will not be made quite yet, however, please be assured that in the event our ceremony does need to be cancelled we will ensure that seniors have access to what they need for whatever their future holds.“
