“Spider-Man: Far From Home” Revamps Marvel Series
Viewers were able to experience the latest addition to the Spider-Man series, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” starting on July 2. With an ‘A’ rating from both movie critics and audience members, the film grossed nearly $600 million at the box office in its first 10 days in theaters.
Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Peter Parker steps up to face new threats in a world that has changed indefinitely. With the addition of a new character, Mysterio, and new European settings, Spider-Man not only has to defeat the elemental powers and forces of evil, but rekindle his relationship with his best friend Ned and hope-to-be girlfriend, MJ.
The new Marvel film shines a new light on comedy in action films, creating a more realistic and relatable humor. Many viewers agreed that the film was very visually appealing as well, with usage of several special effects that transported audience members into another world.
Tom Holland and Zendaya’s connection on-screen is unmatchable and feeds into both plot and character development. “Spider-Man: Far From Home” leaves viewers happy for the long journey home and prepares for what may come next.
