Hillsborough Hosts Annual Family Camp Out

Hillsborough's annual Fishing Derby and Camp Out will be held on Friday, August 2 at Ann Van Middlesworth Park. This year’s Family Camp Out will include fishing, games, a barrel fire and a movie under the stars. 

The Fishing Derby will be open to children ages 13 and younger. Kids are encouraged to come out, cast a line, and try and catch the biggest fish! 

This event has become a staple in many families' summer plans here in Hillsborough," said Mayor Frank DelCore. "We look forward to seeing you all there."

The Fishing Derby will be from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and the registration fee is $5 per child.The Family Camp Out is $10 per person and will include dinner on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning. 

Come out to this exciting town tradition to enjoy a night under the stars and the company of your fellow community members.
