Enjoy Hillsborough’s 2nd Annual Coffee With A Cop
The Township Police Department will host their 2nd Annual “Coffee with a Cop” on Tuesday, July 23 with a rain date of July 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hillsborough Starbucks.
The Hillsborough location of the coffeehouse initially approached Hillsborough Policemen's Benevolent Association (PBA) 205 last year to host the inaugural event. The HillsboroughPBA said the 2018 event was a great success and saw a lot of community support, but this year, they are changing the timing of the event in an effort to accommodate those coming home from work who wish to attend.
“Our Police Department has such a positive impact on our community and it is great that our guys wish to go above and beyond and participate in events such as this,” said Committeewoman Gloria McCauley, Liaison to Public Safety.
Police officers such as Chief of Police Darren Powell will be in attendance at the event.
“I am looking forward to this community event,” said Chief Darren Powell.
