The Bedminster Farmers Market is an amazing family-friendly opportunity to build a greater sense of community for all residents to have healthy food options and learn the importance of maintaining land for agricultural uses.
Since the market is founded on supporting local agriculture, all the produce and flowers sold at the market is grown within a 10-mile radius. When the market was established, Bedminster Farmers Market worked closely with Bedminster Agricultural Advisory Board to identify local farms interested in participating.
With this event’s growing success, they sell an exuberant amount of products including fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised beef, poultry, pork and eggs, local honey, bread and baked goods, local wine and cheeses, and even chocolate (just to name a few)!
This market truly emphasizes local outreach and a strong sense of community. Shoppers are able to interact with farmers and vendors who are always open to answering any questions or even sharing recipes! With live music and cooking demonstrations, this is a truly immersive experience that every community member should attend.
The market is located in River Road Park in Bedminster, every Saturday from 9am-1pm. It runs from the first week of June until the last week of October.
